Mum and baby post-pregnancy Pilates – with Sarah (Taster session)
Sep 6 @ 1:30 pm – 2:15 pm

A relaxed, welcoming and breast feeding friendly class, specifically designed for post-natal recovery from 8 – 12 weeks, and a safe return to exercise. This physiotherapy lead Pilates class will focus on restoring core stability and function, pelvic floor strengthening, improving posture and building strength. Exercises will include mobility work and relaxation practice to help reduce common aches and pains. Babies (non-crawlers) are welcome to join you on the mat while you exercise.

Classes are kept small to give you maximum attention, you must have had your 6 weeks GP check up and a screening form to be completed before attending. Initial and follow-up 1:1 assessments are also available and are recommended prior to the course if you are concerned regarding your diastisis recti (abdominal muscle stretching), pelvic girdle pain, lower back and any other related muscular skeletal issues.

Having a baby can be isolating so if you simply want to exercise having the added benefit of bringing your baby, please feel free to join. All abilities are welcome.
