Pilates is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. It is a system of slow controlled movements. It focuses primarily on strengthening the core muscles which stabilise and support the spine. As a result this will help Realign the body and correct any postural problems.
Pilates brings together mind and body as it works on concentration, balance flexibility and strength. This creates lean muscles, a flatter tummy and most importantly an increased range of mobility.
Pilates classes are now a regular session on our studio timetable and they are widely used by Personal Trainers, Physiotherapists and Osteopaths.
Amber holds a couple of Pilates classes on Monday evenings at Equilibrium.
